First gravel ride was 80km of mixed dirt and pavement, and the lighter frame made the climbs feel noticeably easier than my old steel bike. The DT Swiss wheels stayed true over some pretty rough sections, and the Apex shifting was crisp the whole way through.
Took it out for a long gravel loop right after unboxing, and the Apex AXS shifting was crisp even on the chunky sections. The DT Swiss G1800 wheels feel noticeably sturdier than my old set, and the whole bike just carries speed without beating you up. It’s lighter than I expected for something built
