The chain slap noise is basically gone on rough descents, which was my main reason for buying. Shifting stays precise even when I'm mashing through the gears.
Swapped this onto my downhill bike and the chain slap is basically gone—way quieter through rough rock gardens than the old derailleur. It's also been shifting cleanly on every run without me having to fiddle with it.
