Took it out for the first time and the 6061 aluminum frame is noticeably light when you're lifting the front end up. The Cr-Mo forks soak up curb drops better than I expected too.
I was worried a 29" would feel sluggish, but the 6061 aluminum frame is surprisingly light when you're hopping curbs. The Cr-Mo forks soak up my daily commute over cracked pavement without a hint of flex. Two weeks in and I still grin every time I pull it out of the garage.
Took it to the lot behind my place and had the front wheel up within ten minutes. The 6061 aluminum frame is way lighter than my old steel cruiser, which makes balancing a lot easier than I expected. Landings feel solid too, those Cr-Mo forks don't flex at all.
