$10.7 $21.41 In stock

This is one of the most versatile spokes in the DT Swiss spoke range. DT competition gets its special strength from cold forging. This makes an extremely durable spoke and thanks to the thinner middle section, it is 48 g lighter (per 64 spokes) than a spoke with a constant diameter of 1.8 mm. It is perfect for a wide range of uses, from road wheels to super light enduro MTB wheels.

  • Double Butted: 2.0/1.8/2.0
  • Compatible with straight pull hubs only
  • One 264mm spoke = 5.9g
  • Nipples sold separately

Michael ★★★★★

Rebuilt my rear wheel with these and the cold forging really shows — they tensioned up evenly and held true through a few rough gravel rides. The thinner middle keeps the wheel feeling light without any flex I can notice.

Matthew P. ★★★★★

Rebuilt my rear wheel with these and the tension holds beautifully after a few hundred miles. The cold-forged steel feels noticeably stiffer than the cheap spokes I had before, and the thinner middle keeps the wheel weight down without any flex.

Ellie X. ★★★☆☆

The cold forging really does make these feel tough, and the thinner middle keeps the wheel weight reasonable. Tensioning took a bit more fiddling than I expected though, and I'm still not sure they were worth the extra cost over plain spokes.
