The whole thing weighs practically nothing, so our 14-month-old can steer it easily and even carry it himself. We've only had it a week, but he's already getting comfortable enough to lift his feet off the ground for a second.

My little one took to this in a week—the 6-pound frame is so light she can pick it up and turn it around on her own. Perfect for her at 30 inches tall, and the low seat lets her plant both feet flat without any wobble.
