The double-locking mechanism gives me peace of mind when I leave my bike downtown all day. The cylinder hasn't given me any trouble with grit or rain yet either.
The shackle is seriously thick — 11 mm of hardened steel doesn't rattle or flex at all when someone tries to yank it. I've been locking up downtown for a couple months and the cylinder still turns smoothly with no grit.
The double-locking mechanism means both sides of the shackle actually hold, which I noticed right away when I tried to twist it. The cylinder hasn't given me any grief through a whole rainy month of daily locking up outside.
